Ingredients
  • 1Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb beansYour choice.
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2-4 cups waterThis varies on quantity of beans. You want to cover the beans in water 2-3″ from the top of the beans
Instructions
  1. Add olive oil to the Instant Pot
  2. Add beans to the Instant Pot
  3. Cover beans completely with water, plus 2-3″ over the top
  4. Add a pinch of salt
  5. Seal the Instant Pot and turn knob to “steaming”
  6. Set the Instant Pot to 35 minutes on high pressure
  7. Let the Instant Pot cool completely
  8. Uncover beans. Drain any water that is remaining (if any). Make sure you taste the beans to check texture. They should be soft
  9. If storing for the future – scoop two cups of beans into a each sandwich bag
  10. Repeat until all the beans are gone
  11. Label the beans with a permanent marker.
  12. Store in the freezer stacked on top of each other
  13. This will store for 4-5 months
